The Lucile Packard Children's Fund helps the Hospital meet its most pressing needs each year in areas that are not covered by medical insurance but are critical to providing the best care to kids. Contributions are allocated to three programs.
The first is care for all. Packard is committed to treating any child from the community who needs its services, including children with insufficient or no health insurance.
Next is research. The Children's Fund supports progressive pediatric research at Packard and Stanford which enables our physicians and researchers to transform innovative ideas into new treatments for critically ill children.
Finally, the Children's Fund supports family and community services. This includes services such as recreation therapy and interpreter services, as well as health vans and other community outreach programs, which are essential to Packard's comprehensive approach to care.
